Behavioral-health practices run on thin margins and drown in admin. Clinicians lose hours to documentation, claims get denied, and outsourced billers take a cut of every dollar. The practices that serve Medicaid and underserved clients — the ones who need to run leanest — feel it most.

By automating the administrative and billing burden, Resonara lets practices run lean, accept insurance, and serve more people. And access is only half of it — by supporting clients between sessions and giving clinicians a clearer, measurement-based picture of how care is going, our systems are built to improve the care itself, not just its economics. It's built by a clinician who runs a Medicaid practice — designed around how care actually happens, not how software vendors imagine it.

With 14+ years in clinical care and mental-health operations, Phillip felt every problem Resonara solves — documentation overload, claim denials, the cost of taking insurance — before writing a line of code. He's building the tool he needed.

Our first pilot

Built by a clinician who runs a practice.

Resonara's founder runs a Boulder/Denver Medicaid safety-net practice — and is designing Resonara around its real workflows and real documentation pressure. His own practice is our intended first pilot site: where we plan to prove the platform with clinicians once it's ready, before any broader rollout.

We disclose the relationship plainly: the founder leads both Resonara and the Medicaid practice that will be our first pilot site. That's why we understand this problem from the inside — it's not an arms-length customer reference.

How we build

On trusted, HIPAA-eligible infrastructure.

We build on infrastructure designed for healthcare, and put Business Associate Agreements in place before any real patient data is involved. Each vendor has a specific, narrow job:

AWS · HIPAA-eligible PHI hosting Deepgram · therapy transcription & diarization for the scribe Anthropic Claude · Clinical Scribe & Resonara AI surfaces Clerk · authentication, MFA & role-based access Sentry · production monitoring (PHI-scrubbed) Stripe · patient payments (no PHI — payment-processing exemption)

Clinical and billing data stay inside Resonara and its HIPAA Business Associates. The payment processor only ever sees an amount and a tokenized card — never clinical or claim detail.
